Ex-President says Nigeria ‎will be an agribusiness success

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo said on Tuesday in Abuja that Nigeria would be an agribusiness success.

Obasanjo made the statement in an interview with reporters on the sideline of the 2nd Group Meeting of  Nigeria Zero Hunger Strategic Review Committee 2030.‎

NAN recalls that the ex-president had earlier in the year, unveiled the initiative tagged ‘Zero Hunger’, which articulates what the Nigeria must do to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SGDs)‎.

Obasanjo said that the committee had further split into nine sub-committees to ensure that Nigeria becomes a successful agribusiness nation.

A British man is about to become the first person in the world to be cured of HIV with the virus no longer present in his system following a clinical trial.
Scientists working on an experimental new therapy say that the virus is now completely undetectable in his blood. “It would be great if a cure has happened. My last blood test was a couple of weeks ago and there is no detectable virus,” the unnamed 44-year-old patient said.

Gregorio Leon, 49, turned himself in on Sunday night after fatally shooting Arturo Pereyra Bravo in a parking lot in Lexington around 8.30pm, according to authorities.

Leon, who owns several Mexican restaurants in the state, was previously charged for bribing the police in order to keep illegal immigrants employed at his restaurants.

The father of eight is charged with murder, the attempted murder of his wife, discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime.

Argentine player shoots referee dead & injures another player after he was given red card....Watch Video

An amateur football match was marred by violence after a player shot and killed a referee and also injured another player after he was given a red card. The match took place on Sunday in the Campo de la Ribera area of Cordoboa, Argentina. The referee, Cesar Flores, 48, was killed after being shot three times – once in the head, neck and chest, according to police.

 

According to the report bt MirrorSport, Police say referee Cesar Flores, 48, showed the assailant a red card for making a heavy tackle on an opponent. The player, who is at large, then retrieved a gun from his bag and shot Flores three times. He also wounded another player, 25-year-old Walter Zarate, before fleeing the scene.

Boko Haram Trained In Somalia – President Mohamud

Somalia’s President, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud says fighters of the Boko Haram sect trained in his country before coming to Nigeria.
