First Dance with Peter evictees to leave on Saturday

The first set of dancers to be evicted from the  Dance with Peter reality TV show will leave the Academy on Saturday.
After last week’s performance, the duo of Captain Z and Mannaseh, G-Stream and Ernest Smiley, Snipe and Tom Tom and Fearless and Ricky recorded the lowest score from the judges. Followers of the show will find out during today’s telecast which of the dancers have been saved by the voting public and which will exit the competition.

The theme of their performance was “Latin American Dances” and the 30 finalists danced in pairs. Since there were 17 men and 13 women, some of the boys ended up as pairs. Even this proved not to be a disadvantage as the male pairs waltzed and glided on the stage to the salsa beats just like the male and female partners.
No matter who leaves the show, Dance with Peter has not only offered a rare platform to budding dancers to pursue their dream, but it has also provided entertainment lovers one super hot show to look forward to watching every weekend.
The judges, Peter Okoye, Kaffy and Don Flexx have also applauded the talent so far seen in the show. Peter told the eight dancers who are up for eviction that they had made him proud and that he was sad to see some of them go. He enjoined them to make use of everything they had been taught in the competition and use it to better their skills.

“Even though you guys are going now, I don’t believe you’re losers. Ensure that you make use of everything we’ve taught you in here, and if you do that, you can even be better than those that are still in the competition,” Peter said.

Viewers can to tune in to Africa Magic Urban (Channel 153 on DSTV) at 7 p.m. on Saturday to find out the dancers that would leave the competition and also watch the remaining dancers entertain and fight to stay on in the academy.  Those who miss the action can look forward to watching it on African Independent Television (AIT) at 5 p.m.  on Sunday and on MTV Base on Wednesdays from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
