Troops of 
the Nigerian Army have arrested another suspected Boko Haram insurgent, 
who was declared wanted by the military authorities last week.
The Acting
 Director, Army Public Relations, Col. Sani Usman, said in a statement 
on Monday that the suspected terrorist identified as Ishaku Wardifen was
 arrested by soldiers of the 23 Brigade Special Battalion at a 
checkpoint in Maiha, Adamawa State.
Usman said
 the arrested terror suspect was a Camerounian listed as the 22nd 
suspect in the list of 100 suspects declared wanted by the the Nigerian 
Army.
The Acting Army Spokesman said the suspect had been handed over to the Military Intelligence for further interrogation.
He said, 
“As all hands are on deck to finally defeat Boko Haram terrorists in our
 country, today in the morning, another suspected Boko Haram terrorist, 
declared wanted, Ishaku Wardifen, was nabbed by vigilance troops of 23 
Brigade Special Battalion at a check point in Maiha, Adamawa State.
“Preliminary interrogation revealed that the suspected terrorist is a Camerounian citizen.
“Visual 
matching with photographs on the poster of the 100 declared suspected 
Boko Haram terrorists wanted list, released by the Nigerian last month, 
shows that he clearly resemble the suspect on serial number 22 on the 
list.
“The suspect has been handed over to military intelligence for further investigation and possible prosecution.”
He urged 
the citizenry to be more security conscious and be vigilant to aid the 
efforts of the security agencies to flush out terrorism and insurgency 
from the country.
