The 30-year-old model then replied to a number of her detractors before stressing that all people — famous or not — deserve a certain level of compassion.
"Please do not think that I think celebrities are special snowflakes," she tweeted. "I just miss empathy, in general, for everyone."
Other stars made it a point to send their well wishes to the 35-year-old Kardashian, who emerged from the disturbing experience "physically unharmed" but "badly shaken," according to source who spoke to the Daily News.

"Feel very sorry for @KimKardashian," wrote Piers Morgan. "Must have been a terrifying experience."

Broadway actress Cynthia Erivo, who stars in "The Color Purple," shared similar sentiments in a message of her own early Monday morning.
"Glad @KimKardashian is ok!" she tweeted. "No human being deserves the treatment she's had this week."
The incident reportedly occurred after the five gunmen handcuffed a concierge at the private residence were Kardashian was staying and forced him to lead them to the TV star's room at around 3 a.m. local time.
She was then allegedly tied up in the bathroom as the men swiped a jewelry box filled with $6.7 million worth of items, as well as a ring valued at $4.4 million.
Kardashian was in Paris for fashion week. Her husband Kanye West, meanwhile, ended his performance at the Meadows Festival in Queens early after learning of the robbery, citing a “family emergency” to the crowd.
